Schar Hall 104

Located on the first floor of Schar Hall, this room serves as a computer lab and classroom with seating available for 19 people. This classroom includes a desktop computer, student computers, a Planar TV, and a student printing station.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button located on the back of the monitor on the bottom left side.
2. Login using your Elon username and password.
3. Press the TV on button located on the wall plate to the left of the display screen.

*At this time, the CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Player is not functional.

 

1.) TV (Planar)

Basic Operating Instructions

1. Use control panel on left side of TV display to turn on and off the display as well as to adjust volume.                                                                                                
2. Make sure the desktop computer is turned on.
3. To use a personal device, use the provided HDMI cord on the instructor's stand and plug into personal device. The display should automatically switch to mirror your device's screen.

 

2.) Desktop Computer

 

 

Basic Operating Instructions

1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button located on the back left side of the computer monitor, or moving the mouse to wake the screen.
2. Login with your Elon username and password.
3. Once finished using room, log out of the computer, but do not shut down computer.

 

3.) Web Camera (Avaya)

4.) Student Computer (Apple)

 

Basic Operating Instructions

1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button located on the back left side of the computer monitor. 
2. Login with your Elon username and password.
3. To power the computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Apple button on the top left of the screen, then select Log Off or Shut Down).
