Public WiFi Connection Details (elonu-public)

WiFi access is available to the public (not Elon University affiliated) in the following locations:

Alumni Field House Rhodes Stadium Koury Field House
Earnest A. Koury Sr. Business Center Moseley Center Carol Grotnes Belk Library
Numen Lumen Pavilion Schar Hall and Snow Atrium Inman Admissions Building
IT Building Johnston Hall Lakeside Dining Hall
Fine Arts Building LaRose Commons  

For use by Elon University hosted guests.

To access public WiFi:

1. On the device, browse for wireless networks

2. Select "elonu-public" and click CONNECT

3. Open an internet browser page and accept the "Service Limitations and Acceptable Use" policy on the splash page

*Any issues accessing the SLA policy acknowledgement can be addressed by changing the browser or clearing the browser cache.

Connection Details

  • Public WiFi through elonu-public is for use by hosted guests and is not intended for Elon affiliates.  Connecting to Public WiFi may conflict with internal wireless connections. 
  • Elon University monitors access to this network at all times.
  • Speeds are limited by design.
  • Public WiFi is available 7 days a week, between the hours of 6am - 12am.
