Uploading Files in Google Drive

A.) Uploading individual files

1.) Click the New button from the left side of the page - you will be presented with 'Upload files' and 'Upload folder' options

2.) Click the 'Upload...' option from the 'My Drive' button

3.) Select your file to upload and select 'Open'

You can select multiple files to upload at once by holding CTRL while selecting the different files, or SHIFT to select a range of files located together.

 

4.) An upload dialogue box will popup in the lower right-hand corner, informing you of the progress of your upload

5.) Afterwards, your file uploads will be successfully added to your Google Drive account!

 

B.) Uploading folders (recommended for Google Chrome only)

1.) Click the 'New' button from the left side of the page - you will be presented with the 'Upload Folder' option

 

2.) To upload folders, click the 'Upload Folder'

Folder uploading works best in Google Chrome. To upload folders, you will need to access Google Drive through Goolge Chrome.

 

3.) Navigate to the folder you wish to upload, select it, and click OK

4.) A dialogue box will open in the lower right-hand corner showing you the progress of your upload

5.) Afterwards, your folder will be uploaded to your Google Drive account!
