Located on the first floor of the Center for the Arts, this room serves as a band and choral rehearsal room. It features two display televisions and a touch screen control panel.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Turn on the control panel by pressing the power button located in the top right corner of the monitor.
  2. Select the output on the control panel (Desktop, Laptop, AUX).

1.) Control panel (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn the control panel on by pressing the power button in the top right corner.
  2. To mute the image, press "Image Mute" in the upper left corner of the panel.
  3. To mute the microphones, press "Mic Mute" in the upper left corner of the panel.
  4. To turn the system off, press the same power button in the top right corner of the panel.

Desktop

  1. Select "Desktop Output 1" or Desktop Output 2

  2. To display the desktop on the left monitor, select "Left Display".
  3. To display the desktop on the right monitor, select "Right Display".

Laptop

  1. Select "Laptop".

  2. Use the HDMI cord to connect laptop to the display.
  3. To display the laptop on the left monitor, select "Left Display".
  4. To display the laptop on the right monitor, select "Right Display".

Audio

  1. Select "AUX"
  2. To play audio from the system, connect the iPod to the AUX cord, and then select AUX in the bottom right corner of the touch screen.

 

2.) Desktop computer (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. On the Crestron control panel, press the on button in the top-left corner to turn on the system. Select "Desktop" on the panel.
  4. Turn on the television, select Input, and ensure RGB is set as the input.
  5. Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
  6. To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
  7. To power the desktop computer off, click the Windows button on the bottom-left corner of the desktop, then select "Shut Down" from the display menu.

 

3.) TV (NEC)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn the TV on my pressing the power button the bottom-right corner of the monitor.
  2. To display the desktop screen, select input using the controls on the front of the monitor, then select "RGB."
  3. Turn on the control panel by pressing the "on" button in the top-left corner, and press the "desktop" button on the control panel.
  4. To turn the TV off, press the power button on the bottom-right corner of the monitor.
    • Note: this television functions only as a display screen for the computer and control panel. It does not include cable access.

 

4.) Web Camera (Avaya)
