Account Information for Elon University Retirees

Elon University retirees are provided with two accounts

  1. Elon Account - Email and wireless network
  2. OnTrack Account - Access tax information, previous pay vouchers, and academic history

Your Elon and OnTrack accounts will always have the same user names. Initially, the passwords for these accounts will be the same. However, your Elon Account password and OnTrack password are managed separately. To learn more about managing your account, click one of the links below.

Note: The Elon Account and OnTrack account are managed independently. Therefore, updating your password for either will not affect the other.

Contact the Technology Service Desk if you require assistance managing any of your online accounts. For your security, the Service Desk communicates account-related information either in person or by phone 336-278-5200.

Campus Technologies will never ask you for your password in an email.
If you receive an email message asking you to verify account information or to take action to avoid loss of email service, delete the email. These messages are merely an attempt to lure you into revealing personal information to identity thieves. NEVER respond to messages asking you for your email password or email your password to anyone! Any legitimate communication from Information Technology regarding email accounts will be delivered through multiple channels including Today at Elon and campus mail. All legitimate messages will also include a campus telephone number (usually 278-5200) that you may call to verify the authenticity of the message.
