A new feature added in 2016 allows the event organizer to track the attendance.
You can track attendance one of two methods:
1.) Manual attendance
Manual attendance is done by checking a box for each person who is present. The button at the top is a short cut to check all people in with one click.
2.) Phoenix Card scan
Phoenix Card scan is done using a BlackBoard card reader that is configured to return the University ID. As each individual scans their card, their University ID number is entered into the list. The organizer then clicks on Submit Attendance by Phoenix Card button to save the data.
If an attendee was not pre-registered for the event, they will be registered and marked as attended with the card swipe submission.
