For scanning documents into eDocs via the browser.
Please ensure:
The user signed into Windows is a member of that machine’s Administrators group
If not, ask the Service Desk to make you one. To do that they will need to know the machine name: in Start \ Settings (gear icon) \ System \ "Device name"
All Windows and hardware manufacturers’ updates are applied and the machine has been rebooted.
The scanning device is powered on.
The version of the installer you’ve downloaded is 11.4.0.328 or higher
You can see the version in one of these ways:
If the installer file is still in your browser's Downloads, you can hover over it. Or right-click it, open the Properties dialog, and find the version in the Details tab.
The installed and running version can be found here:

About...
If the version is lower than required, please clear the browser’s cached files and refresh the eDocs page:
If it still doesn’t work please create an installation log by launching the installer from Start \ Run or a console:
