How to Print for Faculty & Staff

The Canon printers/copiers do not have a hole punching capability.

Only labels designed for printers/copiers should be used and not laserjet or inkjet labels. Using laserjet or inkjet lables on a printer/copier could cause the labels to peel off inside of the printer/copier or jam.

How to use Canon Printers

1.) When printing, select the Canon printer and print the job

On Macs, the Canon is identified as 'Canon Printer.' On Windows machines, the printer is identified as 'Canon_BW.'

2.) Touch your Phoenix Card to the Blackboard card reader to log in

4.) You will see a queue of all documents you've sent - You must select the document(s) to print by tapping the document or 'Select All'

  2. Print + Delete - This will print and delete the file from your print queue.
  3. Print + Keep - This will print and keep the file in your print queue.
  4. Select All - This will select all documents in your print queue (useful for printing multiple files at once).
  5. Refresh - This will refresh your print queue. There is a 10-15 second lag between printing a document and when it shows up in your queue.
  6. Delete - Delete the file from your print queue.
  7. Logout - Log out of the Canon printer/copier. You will be logged out automatically after 2 minutes.
  • Documents are kept in the print queue for 10 hours before being purged from the system. Additionally, since there is a 2 minute window before being logged out, it is recommended you logout when finished.
