Enter Office Hours

Go to Office Hours via OnTrack.

Follow this process to enter office hours. To add office hours for multiple days of the week, repeat this process as necessary.

  1. Enter the Start Date and End Date for the period
    • Start Date is required
    • Using the start and end date for the term is a common way to enter office hours
  2. Enter the Start Time and End Time
    • An End Time is required if you enter a Start Time
  3. Click the magnifying glass icon in the Building box to access a list of buildings
    • Choose the building where your office hours will be held
    • Click the arrow icon in the Room box to access a list of rooms for the building you chose
    • Choose the room where your office hours will be held
  4. Check the box(es) beside the appropriate Days of Week
    • At least one day of the week is required
  5. Click the arrow icon in the Frequency box to access a list of frequencies
    • Choose the appropriate Frequency
  6. Click the Save button to save the office hours
  7. A green confirmation message will appear at the top right of the page indicating the office hours were saved successfully

Edit or Delete Office Hours
  1. To edit an existing entry, click on the pencil icon at the right hand side of the entry window
    • The existing information will display in the Enter Office Hours section of the page
    • Make any changes necessary then click the Save button to save your changes
  2. To delete an existing entry, click on the dash icon at the right hand side of the entry window
    • Click OK in the window that appears to confirm the deletion

By Appointment Only
To indicate your office hours are by appointment only, choose By Appointment Only in the Building list and N/A in the Room list.
