What is Google Drive?

Google Drive is quite similar to Dropbox in design and purpose. Google Drive allows you to store and access your files anywhere -- on the web, on your hard drive, or on the go.

Who has access to Google Drive?

All Elon University student cloud storage is unlimited through Google Drive.

How can you access Google Drive?

Here are a variety of ways students can access Google Drive:

  1. Elon University Email Account
  2. Install Google Drive on your computer
  3. Install Google Drive on your Android Device
  4. Install Google Drive on your iPhone/iPad
Please note that the Technology Service Desk can only accommodate troubleshooting questions in regards to accessing Google Drive through your email account. We are unable to provide troubleshooting on personal devices (e.g., computers, smartphones, tablets).

 

What can I do with Google Drive?

Google Drive provides students with a variety of options for file storage and file management. You can create Word files, spreadsheets, presentations, and more with native Google Drive apps.
