This documentation will show you how to set up your Elon email through the Mail app on your iOS device.
1.) Open up the Mail App on your iOS device and select 'Google'
- You will be brought to a 'Sign In' screen.
- If you have already configured an email account, perform the steps below to add your Elon email as an additional account:
- Open Settings
- Tap Passwords & Accounts
- Tap add account
- Tap Google
- Proceed to Step 2.
2.) Enter your Elon email address under 'Sign In,' click 'Next'
3.) Enter your Elon email username and password, select 'Login'
- If prompted to manually configure settings:
- Password: Elon email password
- Incoming server: imap.gmail.com
- SSL
- Incoming server (IMAP): 993
- Outgoing server: smtp.gmail.com
- Requires authentication
- TLS
- Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
4.) Choose which apps you will allow Gmail access to
When the slider is green and to the left, you are allowing Gmail access to the app. When the slider is white and to the right, you are not allowing Gmail access to the app. This can be changed later in your General Settings.
