Student Print Email Warnings

Students are likely to receive two different emails from the print system. Please read below for more information on each email.

Email warning regarding file attachments

If you submit an email with an unaccepted file type, you will receive an email like the one provided below. You will need to email your file again with the appropriate file type.

If a user emails an invalid file type (Non- PDF, .DOC, .DOCX, .PPT, .PPTX, .PPS, .XLS, .XLSX, .RTF, .TXT, .GIF, .JPG, .JPEG, .PNG, .TIF, and .TIFF.)   to studentprinter@elon.edu or mobileprint@elon.edu this warning email will be emailed to the user.

   There has been a problem retrieving the following attachment(s):

"Name of document"

    These file(s) will not be printed.

    NOTE: Only the following file types are allow: .PDF, .DOC, .DOCX, .PPT, .PPTX, .PPS, .XLS, .XLSX, .RTF, .TXT, .GIF, .JPG, .JPEG, .PNG, .TIF, and .TIFF.

Email warning regarding print dollars

Students are allotted a certain amount of print dollars each semester. When you have approximately $10 left in print dollars, you will receive the below email. After your print dollars run out, the print system will start using your Phoenix Cash. If you do not have Phoenix Cash, you will be unable to print any jobs.

The budget assigned to you is about to expire.

You can still print and copy for the amount of 0.00

The print job XXXXXXXX.doc, which you printed on 8/2/2018 14:37:31 PM, will be charged with the amount of 0.03.
