📌 IT Services & Support – Quick Guide
The IT team is here to help with technology needs that develop and enhance the technology experience for students, staff, and faculty members of Elon University. Submitting tickets through the IT Self-Service Portal is one of the ways you can request services and support.

🔎 Finding the Right Service
When you submit a ticket, it’s best to send it directly to the team that handles your issue. To do that, start by finding the service you need in the IT Service Catalog.
You can search in two ways:
Option 1: Browse by Category

Moodle requests: Instructional Technologies & Spaces → Learning Management System → Select the Moodle service you need.

Email issues: Communication & Collaboration → Email, Calendaring & Instant Messaging → Email → Select the email service you want.

Software needs: Hardware, Software & Printing → Software → Select the software service you're looking for.
Once you’ve found your service, follow the instructions to submit a request.
(Note: You’ll need to log in with your Elon account to submit a ticket.)
Option 2: Search by Keyword

At the top of the portal, click the globe icon next to the search bar → select Service Catalog

Type a keyword (e.g., “Colleague,” “Canon printer”)

Press Enter and select the right service

Follow the instructions to submit a ticket
