Change Your Display Name in Gmail

1.) Log into your email account at email.elon.edu

2.) Click the Settings button and select 'See all settings'

Click the settings icon (labeled with arrow as 1) and then settings (labeled with arrow as 2).             

3.) Select the 'Accounts and Import' tab from the Settings screen and click 'edit info' on the 'Send mail as:' line

Select the accounts tab (labeled with arrow as 1) and then click edit info (labeled with arrow as 2).

 

4.) Select your name from the list click 'Save Changes'

The Your Name field is circled here, make sure it's selected.

 

5.) Congratulations! Your email name will now display as your selected name
