Add Questions to the Question Bank


Create a new question within the question bank of a Moodle course.


Adding questions to your Moodle course via the question bank allows you to keep your questions organized, prevent question duplicates, and easily share quizzes between courses. 

1. Navigate to the course where you would like to add questions. Access the Question Bank by selecting "More" in the course menu and then clicking "Question Bank".

2. Ensure that "Questions" is selected from the top drop-down menu.

3. Click "Create a new question".

4 Select the question type you wish to create. Click "Add" at the bottom of the window.

5. Fill in the question information on the following page, and add the question by clicking "Save changes" at the bottom of the page.
