Personal Website Request

IT provides personal web space for Elon faculty and staff to create their online presence with the domain. This DIY option gives faculty and staff the ability to create their own design and requires knowledge of web editing.

Before requesting personal web space, please be aware of these other services that offer easy web publishing:

  • Elon University Faculty & Staff Directory: Every Elon University faculty and staff has a presence in the online Elon Directory. By default, your picture, title, department, and office contact information will appear on your directory page, along with any Elon news articles where you've been tagged. The Elon Directory enables faculty and staff to add more information to their professional Elon presence including a bio, publications, and more. 
  • Moodle: Moodle is a course delivery system with a plethora of teaching and learning tools. Post your syllabus, create learning modules and quizzes, communicate with your class, and manage your grades all in one place.
  • Department/Program Website: Each department, center, and program is provided with an Elon-branded website that utilizes the WordPress platform. 
    • Lab Website: If you would like to create a lab website, talk to your departmental website owner about requesting a subsite.
