The provider you work with will vary depending on the content and intended audience of your proposed video. Since there is no cost for this service, projects must be prioritized using criteria such as potential audience, anticipated impact, scope of work, future relevance, and university priority.

Live Event
Event Technology Services offers video capture, editing, and distribution for events that present compelling and educational material. Visit the Event Technology Support page for more information.
Internal Audience: Educational or promotional
Within Teaching and Learning Technologies, the Learning Design and Support Team produces videos primarily targeting current students, faculty, or staff. To get started, schedule a consultation with TLT.
External Audience: News or promotional
Elon’s Office of University Communications includes a two-person video production team that produces and distributes videos designed primarily to reach external audiences. Visit the University Communications video production page for more details and their Video Request Form.
Screencast
There are several tools available for recording video from your computer. Elon provides support for Kaltura Personal Capture. Use of an external microphone is recommended, and USB microphones are available via Media Services' Equipment Checkout.
